Houston Precinct 5 Constables K9 Officers

The Houston K9 Unit plays a vital role in law enforcement, assisting officers in various tasks, including search and rescue, narcotics detection, and apprehending suspects. Recognizing the importance of their work, APS donates to sponsor police K9’s, handler training, and the necessary equipment for a K9 to perform their job effectively and safely.

We aim to enhance public safety and strengthen community-police relations by supporting our four-legged officers.

In addition, APS is a proud sponsor of K9 Officers Annual Tournament and Charity event. This event helps raise money for the training of K9's to join the Houston Constables.
