On Friday, March 27th, 2020 the President of the United States signed into law the Coronavirus Aid, Relief and Economic Security (CARES) Act, the third round of federal government support in the wake of the coronavirus public health crisis and associated economic fallout. This act succeeds both the $8.3 billion in public health support passed two weeks ago, as well as the Families First Coronavirus Response Act.
